AITU CTF 2026 Quals

AITU CTF 2026 is an annual cybersecurity competition and one of the largest information security events in Kazakhstan organized by FR13NDS TEAM.

The competition consists of two stages:

1) Online Qualifier - March 23, 2026
Format: Jeopardy CTF
Teams of up to 5 members will compete in a wide range of cybersecurity challenges. Participation is open to teams worldwide.
Based on the qualifier results, the following teams will advance to the onsite final:
- Top 10 teams from Kazakhstan
- Top 5 international teams

2) Onsite Final - April 22–23, 2026
Astana IT University, Astana, Kazakhstan
Format: Cyber Range Competition
Finalists will compete on the cyber range, where they will face realistic Red Team scenarios designed to closely simulate real-world enterprise infrastructure, including Active Directory environments.

A special highlight of the final is an additional Hardware tasks and GEOINT competition based on GeoGuessr, held in a single-elimination format.
